oooo i need some help from a mummy cooker

so im making chicken stew and usually before i add the stock i coat it all in flour the veg and chicken! so it goes thick... this time ive used cornflour as i was told thats the best but im not sure if ive added enough and if i was to add it now when the stock is in it.. will it just float to the top?... i knew i shouldnt have changed how i did it :cry:
