I have finally recieved the date of my op (just a few weeks away)! I am very excited but also nervous about it.
My surgeon is Mr Pollard and my op is at Jimmy's in Leeds.
My op will be an open bypass....not keyhole. All the programmes about bypass surgery I've seen on TV are keyhole ops.
I am worried about the difference in recovery times - it all seems so straight forward with keyhole!!!
If there's anyone on this forum who's had open surgery I would really appreciate your feedback about your experiences.
