Operation date after seeing the Anaesthetist?

So how much do you wait (on average) for your operation date after your appointment with the anaesthetist?

At WM it varies, though many of us either got it there and then (I did) or got a letter within a few days. I believe Terri rang and asked for a date, but she will confirm/deny that herself!
