OT - Snow...

here in bolton we have about 2 inchs. main roads are nice and clear but side roads now like skid paths.

its only just stopped snowing here in wembley have about 8" out there, transport has ground to a halt more HAS been forecast so i am not even going to try and venture out, sent my Bro off snow trekking instead lol

You must have more than 10 inches as you're woking as well. We really have well over foot , getting on for foot and half. Sent dogs out and little one got lost!!

Its a bit deeper now....starting to worry that the spade is buried in the shed

In Salford I had snow up over my ankles on my deck this morning & just walked back from the local store and it dark and thick w/snow must be several inches.

Snowing right now in Manchester (on and off all morning). Need to go out food shopping as there isn't a morsel to eat but I hate driving in these conditions. Too cold to walk and use a bus. None of my coats will zip or button up. I've not bought a new coat since I was a size 22/24. Feeling cold, miserable and hungry.

Ramsbottom....25miles outside of Manchester and we have about 4 inches here....some roads closed as im at the bottom of a valley. Its still snowing now...quite big flakes too....woohoo

Been snowing constantly since yesterday. Local schools all closed so at home keeping warm while the kids are out making snowmen. Cant imagine it disappearing by tomorrow so may well have another day off. 3day weeks, just up my street.
