pain on right side

Hi I am 3 weeks + with RNY surgery and the last couple of day's I have had a stabbing pain just under my right rib if I bend or twist feels like a hot poker going through me, haven't had it happen before then just wondering what you all think?

Is it near a port site? Sometimes it is the pain of muscles knitting themselves back together, I had an uncomfortable week with that.
It could also be your intestines having a bit of a grumble and cramp - that can be very painful.

I would try and rest and lie flat if you can and if it has not eased off - call your team.

Could also be Gallbladder....go to GP or contact your team for re-assurance/diagnosis.
