PCT funding for bypass in Glouctershire

Hello,

My sister has been to see her GP for bypass refferal, her bmi is 42.8 and she has just recieved a letter from the dietician and psychologist for appts, it says she has to see each of them 3 times. Is this standard procedure and does anyone know what funding is like for her area? Also what can she expect at the appts?
I had bypass surgery 1 year ago but was under north lincs pct and they work different.

where abouts in gloucestershire are you? i lived in central gloucester for 4 years until i moved to london
