OMG this is terrible.

Polly I dont know what I can say that might be useful, but I will paste the links I left for Scooter81 on Scooter's thread about her massive sleeve / leak problems (a problem so huge she is now considering a major medical negligence claim).

WLSurgery.com - Weight Loss Surgery Support - View Single Post - Leaking like the Titanic..

You do not have to use that firm of solicitors -- but in amongst all the links is a lot of useful information including support organisations who can help when surgeries have gone wrong (inc the AvMA, Action against Medical Accidents).

And a lot of info about funding options / how to fund a med negligence claim (e.g. no win / no fee or using your existing house insurance policy which might have a "legal expenses" covered clause).

If you can prove (with the info you already had and previously wrote about Polly) that the op they performed on you was performed incorrectly, leaving you with 500 ml capacity rather than 100 - 125 mls, you might have a claim. However proving that the op was carried out wrongly would be the crucial issue, and you would have to get a medical report from a surgeon or bariatric specialist confirming the size of your current stomach, and what size a properly wrapped stomach should be.

Hi Polly, i am so sad to read about your troubles. I remember that you spoke to CB about your wrap, was there anything that could be done? Could it be made smaller, or unwrapped and redone? I know cost will be an issue, i was just wondering if it IS possible.
