Pre-op antibacterial body wash

hi

Anyone else had to use a body wash for 5 days before their op? I was meant to use it today and forgot! Then on day 2 and day 4 I am meant to use it on my hair as well!! Won't be doing that in the morning as I just had it done today! Will have to do it tomorrow night.

I am worried about reacting to it though as I have very sensitive skin and scalp!

No but I thought it was if you had mrsa but if you had that they'd have said. Maybe they just take extra precautions? I hope you don't react to it anyway x

No, I was given this at the pre-op when they took the MRSA swabs. I haven't heard anything so that means they were negative. I will try it today and see.

What I should have done is do a patch test
but I forgot about it
