I used to puree my meat with the veg from sunday lunch then you lnow you getting fresh veg and protein. low fat custard good protein, yoghurts liked the petit filous small pots are all u can manage at first, I used to like the big soup chicken n veg that tin used to do me 3 or 4 servings hwen I 1st came home used to puree it up, mashed potato with cheese, in the early days you need it quite runny because it will stick otherwise, the protein helps th ewounds heal in side and give you energy, the water keeps the wounds in side clean, so both of them need to be going in, at 1st seems like all ya doin is eating n drinking, with 1/2 hour between food n drink. Like being a baby needing feeds. Soon flies by though, take it easy n dont try to rush things. fish in the parsley sauce is nice with a little mash. If you make your own stew or casserole puree that, i used to keep a portion of my sinday lunch each week in pots 1 for each day so thta I knew that one meal had veg and protein in one less to worry bout. x Just takes time to get your head round things fresh fruit veg and meat is always the best option though cos you know exactly what has gone in it, unlike tins x
