protien after your op

I might be wrong but i thought it was something like 60-80g per day :)
 
You are meant to have about 60grms per day but in the first 3/4 weeks post op with the liquid stage its almost impossible to do that, so in the first few weeks its very important to just keep hydrated and take ur vits and start healing, of course protein is very important but i struggled to get more than 30 grms per day in the liquid stage.
When u go on to sloppys then its much easier to get ur 60 grms of protein each day.

it's 60g per day to start with, you can get this by adding things like cheese to soups, adding skimmed milk powder to your milk (fortified milk). I've made soups with turkey, chicken in etc as it lean protein and easily digested.

If all else fails there's protein shakes (some taste like cr**).
