Puree or Mushy?

I love this thread! I am also struggling with the mushy or puréed stage. In the hosp I was meant to be having puréed but it was more mashed!

Tonight I had shepherds pie. I was smoothed down as much as pos but it was definitely mashed. No where near pureed. Anyway, it went down fine!
I will try and be pureed where I can, but listen to my pouch with the rest!
Oh yea-they gave me tuna in hosp which wasn't even mushed down!!!x

Then 2 weeks after that, i can start the mushy stage - but what do you class as mushy??

Is mashed potato puree or mushy?
Is tuna mayo puree or mushy?
Is cottage pie puree or mushy?

Puree or mushy...that is the question!!
