question for post op bypass peeps

I feel the same Twinkle - it just isn't bloody moving. Are we doing something wrong ? I don't eat a lot at all as I am sure you don't and what I do eat I am easily full with. I know it is still only early days, but it just upsets me to hear that the weight "drops off in the first six months" Please, please, please - Bring it on!!!!! I am waiting. :wave_cry:

I am really hanging on for my post op hospital check up, hoping they will be able to tell me what I am doing wrong. There is so much conflicting info about I want to hear it from the horses mouth. Some say you should aim for 400 to 600cals at this stage but then some say 1000 to 1200 ... well I really hope the latter is not true cos I run out of day before I get past 800 :(. My little leggies are 2 inch shorter too as I am walking so much  Still. not moaning .. I have lost 2 & a bit stone including the milk diet & do feel much better for this :D:D Good luck, honey, hope it starts 'dropping off' for you soon' :)

Sorry Girls :wave_cry:
I have always felt guilty about my seamingly easy weight loss.
My very good friend Phatmomma has struggled from day one like some of you and she gives me a good slap whenever she can :copon: and tell me its not my fault but I still feel guilty

just replied but on wrong thread like a numpty...read the what's on the menu thread..where I wrote about snacks x

Mandy, review what you eat & how much you may be under eating which is causing this, I had a brief stall I did this & found I was under eating boosting it has triggered bigger losses in the last few weeks . May be worth a try.

Thanks Penny I will do that. I think Ive been socialising a bit too much, enjoying the new me a bit too much need to put the breaks on and re-assess x

Just to clarify, even on the first six months when I lost a lot of weight, there were plenty of weeks when I didn't lose and some where I gained too!
Everybody's experience of this process is different and there is no right or wrong in terms of how long or how much one loses.

Best of luck to all xx
