I know there will be a vast difference in answers to this(due to differing start weights etc but have you ever been advised as to how much your excess skin weighs?
What an interesting question . . . some of these American WLS programmes (Worlds Fattest Man etc.) suggest that excess skin can weigh up to 4 stone (in the extreme) though this weight of the skin should be taken into account when measuring BMI and body fat as it will give a false measurement. xx

thats really the reason i'm asking re the BMI. Blackpool NHS wont consider abdominoplasty unless you have a bmi of 26 or under but I cant honestly see me getting that bmi whilst i have all this skin to get rid of xxx

This is one of my major problems with trying to reach your perfect BMI - for some of us it is impossible.
I have at least 2 stone of excess skin, my current weight is 10st.9lb, therefore take away the excess skin weight, I'm now underweight and actually look it !!!!!!!!
