Wow, can't believe I have lost 8 stone

I really am shocked. That is an immense load of weight to lose isn't it??

I was nearly 19 stone this time last year, and now I am 10 st 7.

What a bizarre year to look back on, it seemed to be going so slow, and yet I look back and it went in a flash. Although weeks I panicked when I hadn't lost weight, always thinking it hadn't worked, I was doing something wrong, or that it just wasn't going to happen. Honestly, I look back and I want to give myself a shake and say 'it will be ok!'.

I am getting near to my target now, if the excess skin weighs as much as my doctor thinks it does, then I am already there. And I really didn't ever think I would get here.

It's such an achievement, we really are lucky people to have been given a second chance at life.

10st 7 is how much i weighed when i left school at 16...

You have to be so proud of yourself, i hope you pat yourself on the shoulder every day and when you pass a window or mirror tip yourself a wink lol
