Questions to Ask Surgeon

I have an appointment on Saturday and would really like to go armed with all the right questions, i know this will be personal to me but does this sound about right:

- Can I carry on with medication or will this have to revised (AD's and Mettformin for PCOS)
- Recovery times
- Operating procedure
- Health - I have suffered a blood clot related to the Pill in the past, will this be an issue and what extra care will be taken to prevent it again
- After care procedures
- after care included in cost
- How soon can I work
- How soon can I exercise
- How soon can I have sex (this might not be affected at all but I like to make my husband blush!)
- Mortality rates
- Success rates
- complications
- Pre-op diet
- Post - op diet

What have I missed?

As you are going privately you can probably have sex earlier than on NHS.

Being a dinosaur I had to look that one up!
If it really is a problem Bex you need a different kind of surgery and maybe you should seek advice on another forum, but please bear in mind that after that particular procedure you will need to wait about 6 weeks. I know!
