Hi I'm a newbie. Does anyone knew how long a first appointment takes to Salford royal?

Has anyone been through them and can give tips??

Hiya, I had my bypass done at Salford in December, all in all it took me 2 and half years but they did loose some of my notes tho so should of been a bit quicker really xx

How long did first appointment take?

I'm confused to because some people say that I put through for surgery due to bmi but others say about 6month programme ?

Once my doctor referred me for surgery I got my first appointment through in a couple of weeks, I had a couple of appointment letters come through all at once. It depends on where u live as to how u go through the process, I'm from Leigh so had to complete 6 months with the weight management team first then just had appointments at Salford. Hope this helps xx
