The letter given to me on discharge said 6 weeks, but I got time off for good behaviour and only did two weeks. They are a pain but they are there for good reason, so I only removed them when I was really mobile. HTH
Hiya, I was told to keep mine on for 10 days, but it may differ depending on what procedure you have and how long your recovery period is expected to be.
I actually missed my last 4 injections. I was having huge panic attacks everytime it came to have my injection after the first few days. I tried skin numbing cream as well but I was still having panic attacks and was in tears everytime mum injected me (it wasn't that painful, just the fear and the thought of it). I gave up for the last 4 injections, couldn't cope. Yet I have tattoos and piercings, bizarre eh?
10 x days for me too! I found an easy way of getting these bliters on by putting a sandwich bag over my foot first then they pull on with ease. You then pull the sandwich bag through the little hole just under your toes. Gail x
they were horrid jaxx! my mum done my first few as i was so poorly but then i finish the rest.. took me ages to build up the courage to stab myself and they hurt like a bbiiatch! lol xx
Urgh ... I had these years ago when I had a clot in my leg, they are horrible, uncomfortable, itchy MINGIN things lol.. my mate said they looked like "laying out stockings" x
