sleeve with bmi 35?

Hi guys

I posted the same on the bypass thread as well. Would you advise someone with low bmi to have a sleeve?

Hi there I had my sleeve done when my bmi was 34 , I had a band done when I was 16 st , 3 years later it failed and I went back up to 14st. So I had my sleeve done in May this year and now I'm 9 st , best thing I ever did , just wished I had the sleeve done first and not the band.

Your surgeon will decide what's best for you darling.

Mine was c. 37 when I was sleeved in June and my surgeon did say then that I was one of his "lighter" patients (thus proving that it's all relative!). Obviously you wouldn't qualify on the NHS but a decent private surgeon will walk you through the options and discuss what would be the bst option for you (which of course may not be surgery).

I had a sleeve (hence the name, lol) and I had a BMI of 36.5.
