sorry to ask but did anyone have any problems on the pre op diet.
i am finding it sort of easy and being very strict with it ive lost 10 pounds this week.
one problem though ive not been a number two for a week now i dont get the sensation or need to go.
should i be worried i there anything i can do ??
thanks

oooo didnt want to read and run, plus im not at that stage yet, but id say because its such a radical change to your diet and a all mighty shock to the system that you ve ended up constapated, maybe ring your team tomorow and ask if you can take any fibregel or anything (im sure you can) good luck with your up coming op sweetpea x

Aye, I ended up taking some senakot the weekend before my op as i felt a bit bunged up.

i had constipation when i was pregnant and it was horrible but i never seem to need to go but im peeing or britian lol

I'm not pre op yet, but have experience of treatments and medications recently that have affected me like that.

The very best and mildest constipation help I have had is Dulcolax, very mild and it didn't give me any gripe like pains...

Just sharing in the hope that this may help someone out there....

Hope you soon feel better xxx

think i may go and get some i feel great in myself and no bloating but its just not normal lol

Well ask the pharmacist and your medical team too love... and wishing you the very best to get this sorted.... sending a huge hug your way xxx

I'd heard if you weren't putting much in then don't expect nothing out! However if it's causing you discomfort you should get some extra 'help' with it xx

Congrats on mastering the pre op, 10lbs is an excellent loss xxx
