Specialist weight management Hartlepool

Hi all I have attended an appointment with the specialist weight management team in Hartlepool on Wednesday and was accepted on their new program. I have to attend the 8 week shape up program, lose 6kg in 6 mths and keep off for 6 mth then will be having surgery in feb 16!!! I saw the surgeon and physiologist and the course leader rang me today for my follow up appointments. has anybody else been on this program? thanks in advance!!!

Hi westie welcome I'm from hartlepool too I have not been on this programme so can't help I'm afraid sounds like you maybe at north tees?? My Dr recommended I went to sunderland as they don't require the programme etc. I was bypassed 2 weeks ago. Process took 6 months, early days but best decision I could of made. Wish you well x

No, I'm in Portsmouth. They had a moratorium on all Tier 3 referrals last year and just started a new Tier 3 program and Tier 4 referral.
