Stitches removal with GP after private surgery

Hi, just looking for any feedback from anyone who has needed stitches out with the GP after having private surgery. I didn't have any removable stitches when I had my sleeve, but I'm now having an arm lift done in a few weeks and they'll be non-disolvable stitches.

I just wondered whether anyone had any issues with getting 'private surgery stitches' removed by a GP? I presume a nurse will be able to do this, but I'm guessing it's more than a regular 10 minute appointment needed.
Any feedback appreciated

Hi bear...no your practice nurse should do this, my dads had several private surgeries including a heart bypass, he had about 300 staples removed at our doctors!! She said she had never seen so many..thing that's all that was holding him together!!!! X
