Hi im 6weeks post op and not only am i struggling to find protein meals im also struggling to be intrested in any food.... any tips/ideas on what to try??

Thanks in advancr

Fish in parsley sauce, fish in general, crab meat, mini sausages in baked beans, mince based meals...just a few of my early foods.

Also Quorn mince is good. High protein and low fat. I do chilli with it - added with kidney beans it's a good protein portion.

I find the quorn mince much easier to digest than real mince beef - think I'm a bit odd.

Breakfast: Greek Yogurt with some soft fruit, Greek yogurt 23g of protein per 220g.
Lunch: Soba Noodles with vegges and minced soya - soba noodles 12g of protein in 80g and minced soya is higher in protein than chicken.
Dinner: Boston baked beans 1 cup is about 15g protien

Boston baked beans:

1 tin of Baked beans
1 tin of cannellini beans
1 onion chopped up
1 veg stock cube
mustard just a little
1 garlic clove crushed
fennel seed small pinch and crush them
splash of balsamic vinegar
fresh rosemary finely chopped or use some dry
1 tsp honey
salt + pepper

BBQ baked beans never tasted so good. Could always up the protein value and have the Boston beans with some quinoa which is high in protein.

Boston Beans should keep for 3 days in the fridge.
