Well as I still don't feel anything like as well as I think I should, I just rang Mr Balapuri's secretary. I should've had an appointement for this week. But nothing has arrived........

and no wonder, because nothing's been sent! No follow-up appointment has been organized what so ever. Could they get any worse?

She's promised to try to get me an appointment for next week.

Its unbelievable! Its actually quite disgusting too, you have been seriously ill and you need this appointment! I would ring every day until you get one .....good luck hun XX

I know Dotty. I'm seriously appalled........but not surprised. The secretary said, "oh but the clinics get very full" to which my husband basically blew a gasket! Which is when she said she'd try to sort something for next week!

I think if I get to speak to the surgeon there won't be a problem. We'll ring back tomorrow. The surgeons are great, it's their admin which basically stinks.

Chris, I'd like to say it's funny......but honestly their ineptitude is frightening! I mean, how ill do you have to be before they sit up and smell the coffee?

I had my post op appointment last Tuesday, which should have been my six week follow up after surgery, in fact it was 15 weeks!!!! The surgeon said oh well I will see you again at 6 months post op, and I said is there any point as I am four months out anyway, he said ok, will see you next July, which will be 12 months post op lol xxx

My 6 week check up was at 5 weeks my next check up is at 11 weeks out. Think we're spoilt by the sounds of things. x

they are rubbish pre op too, i have had to chase for every thing, i know they are busy but come on its just a joke. make sure you get an appointment when you phone tomorrow honey

It was fine. They said I can do my overtime from next week so that'll help with the stress of Chrimbo!!
