Surgicare? Mr Mannur

Still trekking on with my research into best private option - feel like my heads gonna explode! Has anyone used Surgicare or Mr Mannur?

Hi There

Cant help you re surgicare but my surgeon was the fabulous Mr Mannur and from what I was told my the aneathetist the other day, Mannur has probably undertaken the most wl surgeries in London and has a very good track record.

I would recommend him

Think Tendersage went with surgicare, she has a diary in the wls diary section.

I recently had my bypass through Surgicare but my surgeon was Mr Ammori. I have had no problems at all with them, they have been phoning me and I know that should I have any problems then they are at the end of the phone.

I know a couple of gals who have had Mr M at the Hommerton for their sleeve then a bypass and they all sing his praise, they went nhs x

Just to echo what Shel has said - I'm sure that Di (Tendersage) used Surgicare and Mr Mannur was her surgeon.

Yup Mr Mannur plus surgicare, great experience (slight hitch with agency staff) but good aftercare and advice. Access to someone to talk to re problems ect whenever you want.

Mr Mannur did both my RNY (private/surgicare) and Gall bladder removal (NHS/Homerton) and kept track of what was happening while i was in Northwick park hospital with a massive gall bladder infection.

Mr Mannur has a LOT of experience with RYN and has done extensive keyhole surgery training/working over the the USA as well as the UK

Mr Mannur will be doing my op on Tuesday on the NHS. They wanted to bring my op forward to Monday with a different Dr. I said I only wanted Mr Mannur to do it. I've heard and read nothing but good about him so feel safer and happier for him to do my op.
