Have any of you enjoyed that rubbing your nose in it moment, where you have met someone who hadn't seen your weight loss, and is shocked by it? Perhaps a *****y work colleague or family member? Any you got to 'strut your stuff'!

Cant say i have as everyone i know work collegues, family and friends have all been geninuenly happy for me.

I always laugh when someone says i need one of them and i find myself saying its not an easy option but if you think you would benifit go see yr gp. To date no one has once they see how little i eat and that i cant down a beer or too.

I had a few of those moments a while back, but these days people that haven't seen me for a few years don't recognise me at all. I've had to explain who I am to quite a few people now. Kinda takes the novelty away!

Seeing as i am going to be somebody's Mrs in two weeks this sounds bad, but i figure i am entitled to the moment so i'm gonna take it and cherish it.

WHEN i've had my operation and lost a fair hump of my excess weight i intend to get myself looking gorgeous (not one of those scrub your face n brush your hair weekend days i usually have) and hand deliver my children to their fathers for the weekend. I will make sure that his g/f sees how good i am looking and i hope she goes green with jealousy/envy and every other emotion she has.

She stole my husband and almost stole my children, she's always felt insecure when i'm around so i am just gonna enjoy the moment!!! With a bit of luck a skinnier me will be even more of a annoyance than a fat me......

Does that sound bad? I'm sorry if it does, but when your best friend steals your man of 22 yrs and she aint even something special then it makes you bitter. I do hope one day to overcome these feelings....

Anyhow, bring on my moment lol xxx

I know exactly how you feel Julie I am married to a wonderful guy now but my first husband was such a d**k and to cut a long story short he told me i was to fat to get anyone else in my life ever so to ever see him about after losing my weight would be worth more than money could buy lol :D

See i'm not bothered about my ex, just want the younger thinner model to see lol

Ooooh, I cant think of anyones nose I want to rub in it. Damn, is that a good thing or a bad thing? I think I want to rub someones nose in it.........there MUST be someone.

There are the people like the man and his wife and baby and dog who looked me up and down today, turned their noses up and pulled their dog away from me when I was stroking it, but they are people I dont know, I come across ejeets like that daily.

So whilst I wouldnt technically rub their noses in it, I would LOVE for them to wake up one day and be me for a day (or a month or if they were really mean a year lol)

Lol @ the ex's and their partners! It's hard to get that result I've found. When I married my ex I was the big one and he was the skinny one. I left him 7 years ago and he's engaged to someone else now, who to be fair is a nice girl, but she's the spitting image of me when I first met him. He has also piled on a fair few stone over the last few years. Neither of them has ever mentioned my weight change, it's the big white elephant in the corner whenever we see them. They don't know I've had WLS, but they must have noticed I've shrunk somewhat!
