Time in hospital

My consultant says I should be in hospital a couple of days after my sleeve.
His own literature states 5-7 days after surgery you should be ready to go home.

How long were people in High Dependancy Unit HDU?
How long were people in hospital for in total HDU and normal ward?

I was in HDU overnight following surgery. Then discharged 3 days later. x

I had a bypass. I was admitted at lunchtime on the Friday, was operated on late Friday afternoon and discharged on the Saturday afternoon

I was on the ward for 2 nights, no HDU with a sleeve.

Should have been HDU for first night but not enough staff, 4 nights in total but only because I had a small complication after the sleeve surgery. The other lady that was sleeved the same day as me was in for just 2 nights.

I have been told that after my surgery i will go in on the tuesday morning, and will be home either the friday or saturday of the same week, i think i am going straight to the normal ward with no hdu bed. I am having a sleeve done

I am having bypass Monday they said 3 nights without complications.

I had a bypass 4 weeks ago, stayed in 2 nights no HDU. Was going home after 1 night but temp was a bit high so stayed that night as a precaution, discharged the next morning.
