I really hope you get your funding hun, I really feel for you it's been such a hard struggle but you will get there don't stop fighting, it shocks me how some people have such a hard time to get funding and it can takes years and then others are given it straight away, I'm one of the lucky ones its been a easy process for me so far

Hi,
as i mentioned on previous posts i have done every single thing thay have asked me to do yet have been turned down, last time they wouldn't even look at my case as i hadn't completed the right weight management course.

well i did complete the right one and lost more than the 5% that they wanted, so i reaplied again for funding.

got a letter this morning saying "thank you for referring your patient to the individual funding request panel for consideration of repeat bariatric surgery"
stating that my case was "clinically triaged" on the 7th of jan and will be taking for discussion on the next panel meeting on the 13th feburary, i will hear within from 10 days from then for the outcome.

so its a good sign seen as last time they wouldn't even look at my case, im so nervous but excited only a few weeks to wait to see if im been turned down again or given the funding ive been waiting so long for! xxx
