Waiting time for ops at Heartlands and Telford

Hi is anyone waiting for a bypass at either Heartlands or Telford who can give me an idea of the waiting times for surgery?

Theres a few heartlands patients on here Tranquil, I think Rambo has been waiting quite some time after being messed around by Walsall

Not sure about Telford though x

well my hubby was reffered to heartlands in Feb/march time and still hasn't heard anything. Good hope consultants are chasing it x

Thanks both. I am exploring as my PCT are on the case in terms of the problems at WM and I want to see what my chances are of being referred elsewhere. I hope by them intervening WM might actually give me a date...I live in hope

Hi, I had my op at Heartlands and was told 18 weeks once on the waiting list. I first saw the surgeon in december 09 and had my op in may so longer than 18 weeks but not too bad. I did have to chase them a bit though and make a bit of a nuisance of myself! Good Luck x

i'v been with heartlands since april wen i seen mr kumar the surgeon' my fundin was in place wen i met him as he showed me the letter from my pct, i recevied my copy a week later from my pct lol , its only been 4 months since and i'm on the wating list, so thats not too bad me thinks, i have been on the old phone to let them know i'm still here lol and ring them regulary for updates on the wating time, mr kumar is due to go on annual leave in oct for a week so they will not book till after his holiday good luck i have found them really nice and not got any problems with them as of yet its just a waitin game but well worth the wait me thinks
