just wonder how long others hads been waiting on the nhs.
i got funding in feb
i sawv shaw summers in june
i am waiting to see sleep clinic on 17th sept

Hi I went to see my Gp at xmas and had my funding approved in Feb. I then had my first appt in april, pre op 16th may and bypass 22nd may. All in all the process was quicker than i expected. Alot will depend on where you will be having the op done. Which surgeon and hospital have you been referred to?

Hi Dave,
I went private so can't help much sorry. From what others who have been on the NHS have told me it's a case of hassling, hassling and hassling some more. You will get there. Keep us all posted on your progress.

i seen shaw on 29th feb,had my pre op friday just gone and im having op next weds....im also in kent and i was told by shaw's pa that kent has a minimum 5 month waiting list.
