water retention

any one post op (bypass) suffer from water retention. I have ad a few food issues and at times could not old much down (only 7 week post op) and I reckon because of this my body is hanging on to its liquids as much as possible. So am retaining water, not loads, but enough to be too much. I am hoping now that food issues settling down that the retention will stop. any one else had this? if so any wls friendly food, liquids that can help in gettin me peeing properly again?

Hi Ryan
There are some herbal over-the-counter remedies available at Boots / Superdrug to aid relief of water retention. It's something we ladies have to suffer with on occasion!
