weightloss after bypass

My sister had a gastric bypass 3 weeks ago and has lost one stone but she hasent lost anything for over.a week now is that normal for weightloss to stop

Hey, I know my week 4 and week 5 I didn't loose any thing, I think it's something to do with your body thinking it needs to store fat as it thinks your not going to eat again or something? Some one will have a better explanation but I hope this helps?

Mrs Cinders is right. Body goes into starvation mode and stalls for a week. I had the sleeve and it happened on my 5th week post op. Don't worry.
