I couldn't finish the article because I was getting so angry reading it. It made me want to slap the woman, has she no self regard? It just goes to show that there are still double standards out there between men and women (look at his stomach!) I think if a marriage is based on your looks or weight then you are heading for trouble especially if you both expect to grow old together. Its amazing what people will put up with just to keep a partner - even though they are obviously having a damaging effect on their self image.
