I have 4 options to choose from when the time comes.....
- 5 pints semi-skimmed milk, 1-2 stock cubes/day, sugar free jelly in reasonable quantities (less than 1 pint/day)
- 2 pints milk and 4 pots low fat yoghurt
- 200mls milk, 4 pots yoghurt, 4 cans low calorie/low fat soup
- low fat/low calorie diet, max 1200 calories/day
You can switch between options each day but not more than one poption on any day. You do the diet for 2 weeks pre-op finishing the day before surgery.
