What's your favourite post op meal?

Lisa J

CRYSTAL PALACE FC!
Hi all was just wondering what everyones favourite post op meal is? You know the one what goes down really well and maybe you can manage a fair portion of. I think mine has to be bacon, egg, beans and a grilled tomato! Yummy!

Hi Lisa, lovin ur post op meal!!

I have 2 meals, one would have to be Soft noodles from the chinese with curry sauce or black bean & chilli sauce

The second one would be onion bhaji & sheekh kebab with some of the sauce from Phils meal either Pathia or punjabi masala

I maybe treat myself to one of the above every 2 weeks, my dietician said this was fine as long as I wasn't overeating

No actually its not 2 meals I have more.......

I make my own soft noodles which are very nice but not as nice as the chinese

I love my homemade chilli con carne, lasagne and cottage pie, these all go down very nice

I love all food and not sure i could actually be pinned down to a favourite meal, though i guess if it was my last meal it would have to a chinese !

I used to be a thin person in a fat persons body, but i think really i'm a fat person in a thin body now :D

mine is a sunday lunch which i rarely have but when i do its fab x

Why cant you have a roast every Sunday  ...... 1 roast spud, some veg, a slice of chicken, 1 yorkshire pud and some gravy, where's the harm in that???

hi kate of course i could but basically i choose not to make it on a sunday as my son isnt here then, when he is i make it, but when theres just me & paul i cant be arsed messing about cooking for just 2 people. also sundays my hangover day and the last thing i wanna do is make a sunday lunch

Have you ever tried makin ur own roast spuds with the spray light? Par boil the spuds for 5 minutes and then put them on baking tray and spray them with spray light and cook for about 25/30 mins in oven, they aren't like aunt B's or anything they are quite light...just a thought :)

Well I loved food.....(Really? and here we are thinking you had to be force fed to reach 28 stone :D:D) and I still do. When I remember to eat that is

So for me my favorite is whatever I stuffing in my gob at the time. ;)

If I get a choice it will be my MBs stir fry (More of a stir dry fry to be honest :D) with half a Hot dog sausage...(Yes I know it is a blasphemy and I should be hung for it but I don't care :D) or my fave Indian food. Any Indian food.

Mmmmm...now let me think...

I think my favourites are bolognese (no sketty) on garlic and herb potato wedges with a dash of melted cheese and defo a sunday roast type meal...

:D

I had chicken balti with a bit of rice and 1/4 of a pashwami naan last night it was well yum

just had bacon covered with tomatos, onions and melted cheese, it was well tasty!!!!
