From introduce yourself here - to general surgical discussion.

i asked the dieticians today when they called me and heartlands will allow a couple of pounds out as long as there is no gain has to be couple lb off total to lose

Okay, let get me just keep working on it. I've been so upset these past few days. "How am I supposed to lose four pounds in 2 days?" Has been the question running on my mind.

At least now I can meet my surgeon in confidence knowing that at least I have lost weight not gained... Phew!

My team never asked me to loose weight...I had to stay the same from date they said yes to date they asked me for pre.op tests. Then I had preop diet for .
14 days and lost 16 lb... I guess everywhere is different.
Good luck...I am sure u have done enoughxxx

Thank you soo much!!

Miraculously I'm down some more weight.

At my appointment in Nov'13 - 22st 7lbs

After Christmas & New Years - 22st 10lbs

Sunday 7th April - 21st 12lbs

Currently (today) - 21st 9lbs

Fingers crossed, I'll tell you what I weigh at my appointment w/ my surgeon.

Omg...well done uxxx

Thank youuu!!

I was getting all worked up how I haven't managed to drop 1 stone by my appointment (tomorrow), but come to think of it, I've done well.

I even thought about pushing the date for meeting my surgeon to a later date so that I drop the stone they want before surgery.

Gathering by what I've read here, as long as I lose the 5-10% before surgery in good. Right?? Lol

yeah i wouldnt worry overly much you have made the effort proved your willing to make the effort i think for the sake of a couple of pound they wont say no
