WLS post op check

Hi I have my first postoperative check with the WLS group tomorrow and I was wondering what can I expect to happen.

Is it just a weight check and a how are you doing?

It's just that it is a 4hr round trip for a 15 minute appointment.

Hi Julie, i have mine tomoro also. They moved it up coz ive had some problems so i will be interested to compare as so many things seem to differe from one hosp/Dr to another.

Good luck for tomoro...Im assuming btw that it will be weight and bloods. Im sure they must need to check and compare these to pre op.....

Your first one they ask how you are,eating in a day,weight,bp,hair,made sure you are taking supplements and thats about it.I didnt have bloods done till the next appointment cos your iron wouldnt of depleted till then if it is going to.Maz x

They weighed me and asked if i was doing better than last week...that's it...geesh i wish the hopsital was a little closer. Have to go back in another 2 weeks to confirm i dont have an obstruction.
