I'm really nervous about posting this but I've officially lost 5 stone as of this morning so thought I would be brave. I started off a 26st 1lb and I'm now 21st. I lost 2 stone pre op and I'm 9 weeks post op and have lost 3 stone 1lb since then. I've still got a very long way to go but the most I've ever lost on my own before was 5 and a half stone and that took 2 1/2 years. This has been 11 weeks!!! It's insane.
I feel great, I can stand for quite a while without back pain, my arthritis is generally improved. I can do so much more already, walking much further than before. I stand up straighter. I'm swimming again. I have a job! I haven't had a cigarette, alcohol, rubbish to eat or a fizzy drink in nearly 3 months and don't miss it at all. Apart from feeling a little bit queasy after eating and having some low blood sugar issues I feel better than I have in years. I hope you can see a difference in the photo even with a baggy t-shirts on, I'll have to wear something nice next photo but I did this straight from work. I love my bypass
