Appesat is absolutely brilliant, honestly and really helps you not be hungry. The medication it should not be taken with, I think, is Insulin as you are able to eat less with less of an appetite and that could affect badly the blood sugar if a diabetic is already on a regime of food that is working well with blood sugar readings. I took Appesat with Ramipril for blood pressure, as well as Simvastatin and Aspirin. I only stopped the Appesat when I was put on diabetic pills that help the appetite anyway.
I would say phone the Appesat helpline. Don't email them as it will take forever. They may try to get you to order over the phone, but don't be pressurised. Tell them what meds you are taking and ask if Appesat is safe. It is a product you can buy over the counter and it may be safe, but really it is best to check.
Follow the instructions to the letter though and it certainly makes you less hungry, although of course you need to watch for emotional hunger, boredom hunger etc.
