Thank you for all your replies i have been reading all your messages to each other and blogs and i think i am just totally addicted to all of the different stages you are all at

What medications do you take after your op? i'm on quite a few for my blood pressure and Ana said that i would need to grind them up into a powder and have them that way!!! but i've been nosy on what you need to take after your op

I think the powder stage only lasts a month, but I need to check that myself with WM. NSAIDs (Ibuprofen and the like) and Aspirin are not allowed post-op.

Hi there, I take a lot of medication for my Bipolar and I have found since about day 4 post op that I've been able to take them whole (or particularly large ones in halves) They seem to melt in my tiny top tummy and go through hole after. I'm a bander and I've taken nurofen - so long as I eat yoghurt with them.
When you take a lot of meds, it is actually quite filling!

I take one of mine (that I couldnt chop up) in a liquid form and chop the others with a pill chopper from Boots...chopped them fine to start but now in 1/2 for the small ones and 1/4s for the larger...Im a bander 3 weeks post op
