The same thing happened to me. My boyfriend treated me to thurs. to Monday of all my favorite restaurants and foods. Surgery was Tuesday. I gained 5 pounds. But lost it and 5 more. They never asked about my previous weight at the hospital. All went fine. I too was so worried.
