How lucky were we who had Dr Basil Ammori, I've been on this website since Feb 09 and i have not seen 1 person with a complaint or problems with his surgery techniques,you see a lot of people who have other surgeons who i know are very good who have had problems with staples, weeping wounds etc yet we who had Mr Ammori dont seem to have had any problems now it might just be me and now ive no doubt that some one will write to say they've had a problem but i thank my lucky stars that Mr Ammori did my op has i havnt had 1 problem at all i was sleeping on my side within 3/4 days have suffered no discomfort and my wounds are nearly healed fully and just to add he is a very pleasant and gracious man to whom i owe a great deal.

I paid £10,000 for the privilege of his services I can't fault his bed side manner or his techniques as my ops been a great success, however I haven't received as much as an email from him in the 8 months since my op, no follow up appointments or check ups... Which is surprising... but a really lovely man and would definately recommend him.

Yeah I did expect a bit more to be honest, if I would have struggled etc then I think I would felt more let down but because I've had a easier and more successful journey than most so it sort of makes up for it....might drop him an email saying hello lol so he knows his ops are working lol

Mr ammori did my op in the spire manchester he text me a couple of times after my op and all my notes have been transfered from manchester to blackpool (that happened 4 weeks after my op) hence no traveling now kath rothwell (Mr Ammoris bariatric nurse ect)comes to blackpool. I go to see kath rothwell on regular followups, my next appointment being the 6th april last one was 1st december. Have a look at my scars on my 10weeks out photos and now you need a magnifying glass to see them they are almost invisible he does the gluing technic so minimal scaring. Gail x

I have just come home after having my bypass yesterday by Mr Ammori and I also paid £10k. I saw the deitician before I left, who went through the diets with me, and gave me her number.I couldn't see the Bariatric Specialist Nurse as she is still off. I will been given an appt in 6 weeks time to see Mr. Ammori. I will wait and see how it goes..
