Anyone had dr el hasani as their surgeon?

Hi Vicky, the only appointment i had with a nurse was for my pre-op assesment and this was once i had my op date so not sure what this app is for, sorry i couldnt help but best of luck with your journey and dont hesitate to ask any other questions xxx

My letter say's.... Appointment in Mr Hasani general surgery outpatient clinic at Orpington hospital and i'll be seen by the nurse specialist.
I might give them a call tomorrow to find out, i need to know roughly how long i'll be there for so might aswell kill 2 birds with 1 stone!
My trouble is i want to know everything now but im too scared to google too much incase i read something bad and get cold feet!
How's sunny herne bay? i've got family living there, my kids know the arcades like the backs of their hands lol

I know what you mean but try not to worry it will really change your life. As miserable as Mr El Hasani is he is a fantastic surgeon and i owe him so much.

My in laws are spread over herne bay, grandparents in studd hill and mother in law by the harbour. My mother in law wants to come back to London, for my children I think but I'm not sure she'll be able to handle the fast pace as shre's been there for 25 years now. As much as I'd love her support here I want her to stay there as it's always so nice to jump in the car and be with her and the sea side within a hour lol
I used to work in petts wood and I've always said when I win the lotto that's where I'll live!

Hi Vicky, how boring, hospital forms!!! At least the group session maybe interesting and helpful. What a small world! My mum lives on studd hill! ford close, she moved here 4 years ago and like you we used to go down most weekends to visit until it came to the point that i hated going home so decided to move down and havent regretted it one bit. My partner Lee used to work at Bromley Civic and my 9yr old went to Crofton Junior School in Petts wood. xxx

Hiya all , I was operated on by El Husani at the new year , found him to be a good guy and his work has done me well. very little scaring and good follow up by Starr his Consultant. yes he is a bit harsh in his manner but thats acceptable with the quality of work he does. His team to be on top of their game. I was in Princess Royal after a 9 month wait and after a 5 day visit to the hospital I came out of their looking to a new future. Good luck to you all

Hi Everyone, I stumbled across this post as was looking for reviews on Mr Shamsi El-Hasani.

I been over weight since I was 8 yrs old I'm now 26! I've finally hit a brick wall knowing this cant go on forever as my health is getting worse. I've thought about having a gastric bypass 3 yrs ago NHS in orpington but never fallowed it through because I was scared.

After having my gallbladder taken out last year with the NHS in sidcup st marys cray I was very un happy with how i was treated and cared for so I knew if i was going to have a bypass i would feel at ease if I paid for it privately.

I have a consultation with Mr El Hasani on wednesday in the sloan in beckenham (2 days time!!!) and hopefully I will have to wait and see what says and if I feel confident having him as my doctor.

I would love to hears any positive or negative comments on their experience

I am due to have my surgery with Mr El-Hasani in 19 days 1st July at the chelsfield hospital...at the moment I am on the pre op diet so not very enthusiastic to say the least and what with packing up smoking too, I a little bit emotional at times. But onwards and upwards. My eyes are firmly on that prize.

I had my surgery on thur by mr hasani I found the pre op diet a bit boring but hang on in there its all worth it in the end and his such a nice man also xxxx
