Guys - size 16 jeans on!!
I am just so thrilled - people barely recognise me from before my op. It is wonderful being able to choose clothes you like rather than ones that cover as much flab as possible. I'm still finding it hard to get the sizing right - I can get more fitted clothes now but I still find myself reaching to the back of the rack.
Next jeans. Gap jeans. Even my feet are narrower and fit into shoes better. The seatbelt on the car is easier to click in. Cinema and theatre seats are comfortable. Hopefully I'll feel a bit cooler this summer without lugging an additional 6 stone of weight around with me.

Well done on your weight loss Im having my wls with mr el hassini on the 13/01/11 & cant wait . Thanking you all for your comments on the master himself, gotta say i found mr el hassini bloody rude aswell but star was lovely xx

I live in croydon & was suprised that i only waited 8 months from first appointment . The only worry that i have is the the picolax stuff to clear me out as i have a really high gag reflux ! x

I was put on the list for a gastric bypass on 26th may 2010 and told it would be a year.
i was then given my date for the op for next week 27th jan 2011 and after being on the pre-op diet for 8 days i was told my surgery has been cancelled due to the need for hernia ops and that there has been a few others cancelled too, im soooooo upset especially as my sis is getting married in spain in 14th july 2011 and im booked to be going out there and to be a bridemaid. they cant tell me when it is going to be re-scheduled for and im so worried it will be around them dates, (or that im going to be a "huge" bridemaid still) im so upset :-(

oh i hope so!, ive stayed on the pre-op diet at the mo as im awfully scared of carbs now after losing a stone in 1 week 
im just aprehensive on the wedding thing!
i know someone else who joined after me who has been given their date now for march so god knows whats going on. will just cross my fingers that it will be before july.
