Hiya
I was going to ask the same thing, so glad someone already had :0)
Im in Watford, Used to be based in suffolk and got referred to Luton and Dunstable hospital for bypass but got refused as was told they only give funding if you have sleep apnea or diabities, which I have neather, my GP at the time asked for it too be looked at again as I have Polycystic ovaries and cannot conceive and it was turned down again.
So Im now living in Hertfordshire and off to GP tomorrow to talk about it and I am really really hoping I dont come up against the same problems

Well we are all close together then as Im in Welwyn Garden City...and close in surgery too (except for Trace 
) I have mine booked for the 4th April so in a 3 week period that will be 3 of us with WLS lol
I kept feeling I couldnt be the only one round here as so many people are from the midlands and the north on here.

I am having mine done at The Highgate Hospital (in Highgate) with The Weight Loss Group the convenience of having it done close to home won over the cost that and the fact i got 2 years full aftercare in the cost. who is doing your aftercare THG? or are you paying for each fill etc?
Will be interesting to see how we both do as tho we weigh different amounts we are the same height (i think you a fair bit younger than me by your photos too - I'm 40)

Now I know your a stalker Brett!!!! my husbands ex-wife lives in Birds close my hubby lived there for 20 years!!!! I live not that far away...do you remember the corner shop oposite the fire station? I liove literally round the corner from there!

when u drove in to birds close turn left and there is 2 houses in front of you i lived on the right hand side of them 2 houses 2nd house in i think was number 7 next door to a woman called margret she was my cleaner she has been there years still there im told ...

Yeah i was worried i would be the only one round here when i first joined so glad im not alone.

trace have you looked at BOSPA - The British Obesity Surgery Patient Association that will tell you the criteria for your local area

Severe Sleep apnoea....Nope :0(
Doesnt sound like im going to get funding....so that means no to IVF funding aswell.

Have you been tested for sleep apnea?? or just surmising you dont have it? Some people think they have it and they dont and vice versa....you can always request a test if you have not had one...x
