my new find when i was in asda today they had on sample helmans garlic mayonaise, i tryed some and it was lush so i bought some and it was great on the side of my salad, it made a nice change from the plain, so it will be a definate on my shopping list from now on.

lol you should have tried the asda own brand of garlic mayo it is amazing and they have it on offer sometimes 2 bottles for £1 bargin

I'm really struggling with this fill Liz. I'm struggling with the drinks too so if its no better by next week I may have to have a little taken out.

Gaynor I was like that after I had some fill added a week gone Thursday...the surgeon told me to stay on liquids till last Monday (hot drinks went down but water hurt) but even then I could barely get sloppies down. I was becoming really concerned, but decided to stick on sloppies for a few more days and have just managed solid food from yesterday.(9 days post fill)


I can't imagine how other banders manage real food again on day 5 after a fill

will it be like this everytime we have a top up?

I have had 2 fills and wish I felt some restriction!! I have a little discomfort if I don't chew properly but apart from that I could eat anything.

Yum sounds nice, im on Branston garlic and lemon mayo and thats yum too

I also have a chilli mayo too but I guess that will be a no no after surgery lol but for now its yum too

hi gaynor try to just stick to fluids for now because if you have been vomiting your pouch will be extra sensitive/swollen and will be agitated even with fluids and this could be a reason why your pouch is rejecting the fluid. give it a little while longer and hopefully things will settle down x
