Hi Emma

Ive not eaten bread since March 09! gave it up before being banded as I was told it can be a problem when properly restricted. Anyway just wanted to know how toast effects you ie does it make you really full? Recently I have had the odd very thin slice of pizza - can manage a quarter where as pre op it would of been the whole thing plus garlic bread.

I would like to try toast but im scared

hiya

the toast was ok, i just ate it really slowly & made sure it was all chewed well. ive not got a great restriction at the moment though, the feeling off fullness i have had a few times over next to no food, i think might be me eating too fast. i did feel like id had enough after half a piece though.

xx

Many Thanks Nic for starting this thread. Its a great start for me as I`m about to embark on my journey. Getting used to the milk diet at the moment but explaining how we need to go on post op is a great help. Really interesting to see how everyone eats and quantities etc; I shall be watching this thread with interest in the months to come.
