can you still have band/bypass if blood pressure hight

Hi

Can you still have bypass or band if you have high blood pressure ?

I'm not sure really but when you go for your assessment they will note your bp and probably give you something for it or make allowances for it during the surgery.
When you lose weight your bp will possibly get better. I know my head and hands etc dont thump as much as they used to pre op.

I did under my pct this was classed as a co-morbidity please bear in mind this varies from pct 2 pct xx

I have high bp and on medication. Ive just been put into weight management. 6 to 12 months,
then I hope they will put me forward for funding x
