cancelled my date heartbroken and so so gutted

just called the hospital,as asked, to check when to start my liver shrinkage diet for my op on the 6th,to be told the lady who gave me the date was standing in for someone and should never have told me i had a date ,no sorry,,,,,no reason,,,then told abruptly that i might not get my date til september ,although ive had my pre op and been given 2 dates which have been cancelled,im just so so heartbroken,and feel so let down,i know we all have to wait but do some of these people forget we are human ,with feelings , cant stop crying ,,and that really is not like me ,,im always positive ,but hey ho , il cope ,,,,got no choice eh!,will be watching and learning by everyones journeys til mine is here ,and wish good luck to all of you x

I agree with everyone that has advised you write a letter of complaint......this should not be allowed to happen, I know you have got a lot coming up but when there all over and then your back to reality you will be kicking yourself for not saying something sooner.....Please consider just dropping them a few lines to see if it will get you there sooner xxx

Speak to PALs, they progress things in these situations. No words can make you feel better, but keep strong and it will happen.

Oh Starr, I really feel for you I felt bad enough when due to a clerical error mine was delayed by 2weeks let alone months.
I suppose the only brightside is you can enjoy seeing your grandbaby and the wedding without worrying about food or feeling up to it all. These things happen for a reason it's just a pity we don't understand the why's etc at the time much less stress if we did.
