Contacts and Friends list - how do u send a p.m.

I have added a few people to my contacts list but cant' seem to be able to find how to send them a msg!!

Can anyone advise?

Under your "User CP" choose the option "Friends and Contacts", then click on the person's username to go to their profile.

Underneath their profile picture there is a menu option "Send Message". Click on that, and choose "Private Message" to create one.

I guess if someone;s not got nothing under there profile pic its cuz they are new and need to up there posts first?

Yes I would think that's the case, you need 50posts to send and recieve a PM
