Did you want to jump off the table? Lol

Think I will be nervous as hell. always have been with operations. I hate it when they put the mask over your face.

Lol!!! Me too. Last year when I had my abscess removed, the anaethetist said breathe in deep. Dont remember anything after that lol

Awesome!

Think it's because when I was 5 I had appendicitis and was rushed into hospital, next thing I know "whack" oxygen mask on

That would totally explain the dislike :( traumatic connotations. Do you think you will be partially ok having it this time? X

Last had op two years ago, was fine with the injections in hand but started to panic a bit when mask on but was soon out of it, Just got to think long term and being a skinny minny

Every time I've needed anaesthetic it's needed lots or it just wears off. I had my wisdom teeth removed the other year. Took 4 dentists an hour to find a vein then I woke up half way through the second of four extractions and had to be held down.

When I was a kid I had my tonsils out. Took 3 injections, 3 lots of tablets and two rounds of gas before I went out.

I had a strange calmness that came over me the night before the op and on the day I was more worried it would be cancelled again than of the actual op. I couldn't wait for it to happen and joked with the anesthetist while he was wiring me all up.

You'll be fine lovely and will be shaking your booty before too long. Can't wait for you to be on the losers bench with us.

Kitty, looks like they are going to have fun with you.

I keep saying I need to be knocked out with a rhino dart lol

Lol!!!! Booty shaking is my fave lol. Shaking a much reduced butt will be awesome!

I totally understand your fear. Being cancelled would defo do that.

With all the trouble at Heartlands I have had a similar worry. Obviously not to the same extent. So just can't wait to be there KNOWING they really are going to do it :)

I can't wait to join you all on the losers bench. I have been eyeing it up for too long now lol

I was fine till we got to the hospital then had a panic attack then was fine for a few hours till I went down then I cried a little as was worried I wouldn't wake up.
Sadly my anaesthetist had me so worried I wanted to get off the table. He was arguing with the nurse for 10mins then said oh yes your right!!! Thankfully they put me out then other wise I would have got off as I had no trust in him as he didn't know his job.
I am glad I had the op and glad I didn't jump off.
You will be fine hun and energy will be on its way.
Blessed Be xx

Oh Fuffs....I'm feeling terrified and have moments of calm and pleasure in the thought of being fitter and slimmer.

I sympathise, I really do., its a horrible feeling.....I will promise not to jump off the table if you don't either? Deal? :) xxxx

I think my hatred of looking like an idiot will override my desire to run for the hills lol

I want this op sooooo much, I will breathe deeply and stay put lol

Best of luck for tomorrow Fuffs. If anyone deserves to have it and for it to go well it's you. You've been a brilliant example pre-op !
